BlackGold (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tiohtia:ke/Montreal, deeply engaged in the city's house dance scene.

COFLO
Cody “Coflo” Ferreira is a dancer, producer, and DJ known for fusing music and movement into a soulful, percussive sound rooted in house culture. Raised on Hawaiian and Portuguese folk music, he began dancing at 13 and quickly developed a deep connection to rhythm and expression. He’s performed and taught internationally, earning respect as a member of The Soulshifters and the legendary Circle of Fire crew.

Coflo’s transition into music production has led to releases on respected labels including Yoruba Records, Ocha, King Street, and Soso Deep. His standout tracks like “Stress Relief (Don’t F** With Me Right Now)”* and “Soul 2 Souls” have become favorites in deep house circles, blending raw emotion with layered percussion and spiritual energy.

As founder of Catch The Ghost Records, he continues to explore his artistic vision—releasing original works, remixes, and collaborations like Gazin’, Dance Floor Warriors, and Soulfado. Whether on the floor or behind the boards, Coflo remains dedicated to the rhythm, culture, and evolution of house music.
DISCOTT
Discott is a Toronto-based DJ/selector and vinyl junkie with a deep love for disco, soul, and boogie. Always on the hunt for fresh cuts and a solid bassline, she brings nostalgic, feel-good energy to every set. Known for her thoughtful selections and infectious vibe, Discott recently made waves with a guest set on NYC’s iconic Soul in the Horn, sharing her sound with a wider community of groove lovers.

GADJET
Toronto's own gaDJet ‘Dee Jay Gadget’ has been a consistent force in the city's nightlife, with pride always being behind-the-scenes, holding down several nightclub residencies since 1994 with a dedication to the soul, jazz, latin and afro sounds of House music.
With a deep experience and involvement in the underground after-hours, this mixture between the two cultures led to a residency at the famous Roxy Blu, the epicenter of House Music in Toronto of its era; which hosted the most prominent names in House Music history, cementing his set styles to House music. With his consistent study of multiple musical genres made for dance floors from around the world, this gives his House sets a unique signature vibe that is also well-known for elongated blends and well-placed cuts.
HIRO
Hiroyuki Suzuki, also known as HIRO or Hiro Alma, is a celebrated Japanese house dancer and DJ who helped shape the global house dance scene. After training in New York, he developed a distinctive style that fuses house and hip-hop. He’s a champion of international competitions like Juste Debout and SDK Europe, and a respected judge worldwide. Based in Tokyo, he runs Jingsta Studio and mentors young dancers while organizing events like House Dance Crossings and Summer Dance Camp Japan. Hiro continues to inspire and uplift the next generation through his dedication to preserving and evolving house culture.
JASON PALMA
A staple of Toronto’s music scene, Jason Palma has been moving dance floors for over 25 years with his deep and diverse record collection. Known for his fearless genre-blending sets, Jason seamlessly weaves together everything from Latin and soul to house, funk, hip hop, Brazilian samba, disco, and afrobeat. His uncanny ability to mix tracks that many wouldn’t dare to pair has made him a standout behind the decks and a trusted name across the city and beyond. Whether playing intimate venues or festival stages, Jason brings a rich musical knowledge and undeniable energy that continue to earn him the respect of peers and the love of longtime fans.
JOHNNY LOPEZ
Johnny Lopez has been a part of Toronto's house music movement for over 20 years as a radio host & DJ. Starting as a regular guest on Nick Holder's "Deep Section" on CHRY 105.5 FM for over 5 years and then transitioning the show to "Beats United Radio" as host & programmer; Johnny at the same time was also a part of one of Toronto's legendary House music shows "Soul Fusion Express" on CKLN 88.1 FM. As a DJ Johnny has played for various top venues, promoters and host's across Toronto & NYC. Johnny continues to be at the forefront of Toronto's talented Dj pool, and is recognized as one of Toronto’s top house music DJ's with his own tight programming, eclectic & organic house sets whether be on his current radio show or rocking dancefloors all over.
JUSTIN CORRADO
Toronto’s Justin Corrado is a dedicated selector known for his deep, soulful, and percussive house sets. A passionate contributor to the city’s underground scene, Justin recently shared the decks with Osunlade and Atjazz at the Goodbeat party at Acqua—showcasing his ability to hold space alongside some of the genre’s finest. With a keen ear and a love for community-centered dance floors, Justin continues to build his reputation as one of Toronto’s rising house DJs.
LAZY E
Boasting over three decades as a DJ, Lazy-E has cultivated a career of significant influence. He’s widely recognized for his remarkable prowess, expert mixing techniques, and the awe-inspiring quality of his sets. His acclaimed “LAZENESS EDITS” series on Bandcamp showcases his unique style and deep musical knowledge, further cementing his reputation in the scene.
MELISSA MARTIN
Melissa Martin an illustrator and artist based in Toronto, creating work that explores the beauty of everyday life through vibrant landscapes, expressive portraits, and illustrations that reflect the world around us.
Melissa is also the creative force behind ART HANG PARTY! She believes there’s something magical about drawing alongside others, whether in person or online. It’s fun, it builds confidence, and it is a very sneaky way of growing your artistic abilities without even realizing it.
Based in Toronto, Melissa lives with her partner Ray Ray and their three fur babies: Simon, Knit, and Purl.
MICFREAK
MicFreak is a dynamic DJ and producer known for vibrant, soulful house music. A key member of Quantize Recordings and frequent collaborator with DJ Spen, his sound blends funky grooves and live instrumentation. He gained acclaim with the 2020 anthem “Party People” featuring Crystal Waters and DJ Spen and has since worked with icons like Mr. V and Barbara Tucker. Originally from the Philippines and now based in Baltimore, MicFreak’s decade-long career spans top labels and major venues worldwide. His energetic, culturally rich sets continue to captivate audiences and uphold the spirit of house music.
NICK HOLDER
Nick Holder is a pioneering DJ and producer from Toronto and the founder of DNH Records. Drawing inspiration from the Detroit techno and Chicago house scenes of the late ’80s, he has crafted a unique sound blending deep disco vibes with minimal house. Since the ’90s, Holder has been a vital force in underground house music, releasing influential tracks like “Summer Daze,” “Trying to Find Myself,” “Da Sambafrique,” and “I Once Believed in U.” Through his work with NRK Sound Division, !K7, and the Trackheradz collective, he helped shape Toronto’s vibrant house music community and continues to inspire new generations of producers and DJs
PAUL E LOPES
Paul E. Lopes began DJing in 1983 at block parties held in his Toronto neighbourhood. While attending Harris Institute of the Arts Lopes hosted and produced his ground breaking college radio show Vibes N’ Stuff on CIUT 89.5FM.
Music naturally followed him throughout his career; journalist for Street Sound magazine, programming for Air Canada’s In-flight entertainment, releasing Whatnaut:House his DJ mix album for Virgin/EMI Canada as well as vinyl on his own Whatnaut Records.
DJ Paul E. Lopes has performed for many events, tours and artists including TIFF, Pride, Do-Over, TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Hugo Boss, Harbourfront Centre, Amy Winehouse, The Roots, Erykah Badu, and De La Soul. He is also the co-promoter of the legendary Bump N’ Hustle, which recently celebrated 18 years of playing, as Lopes has always said “good music for good people!”
PORTIA
Portia is a South African born DJ and artist who brings a dynamic fusion of afro, soulful, disco and amapiano sounds to the global music scene. With her high energy sets, impeccable technical skills and infectious charisma, she has captivated audiences around the world. From legendary residencies in Miami beach to trendy spots in Washington DC, Portia's musical journey has taken her to prestigious venues and festivals internationally. Portia has quickly risen to prominence and has had the privilege of playing alongside world renowned DJs and producers such as Louie Vega, Osunlade, Anane Vega, Karizma, Atjazz, Djeff, Oscar P, Mobi Dixon, Hallex M, Kemmit, Ian Friday and many more.
RAY RAY
RayRay from Toronto, Canada, is a seasoned professional DJ with a passion for Deep, Soulful, Afro House. Boasting over 30 years behind the decks, his sets are inspired from years of inspiration from all genres of music, such as early Hip Hop, Soul/Funk and Disco. He’s graced the decks of Toronto's most illustrious nightclubs, including The Living Room, Mad Bar, Comfort Zone, System Soundbar, Element, Karma, Joy and Sound Machine. More recently, his electric selections have set the tone for iconic events such as the Toronto International Film Festival and the historic 40 years of DJ Spen celebration.
RON JON
Ron Charlemagne a.k.a. DJ Ron Jon has been involved in the Toronto music scene both as a DJ and promoter for over 20 years specializing in various musical genres such as rock, jazz, funk, hip hop, alternative, world music and house. He has been a resident DJ at venues in the city and abroad including Insomnia, Pink Sky, Sofia Restaurant, Radius (Hamilton,ON) and Kost (Bisha Hotel). Ron is affiliated with and has played at various events for DJ/event services Nth Degree Entertainment, dConcept and StokeS Entertainment.
He’s currently partnered with Canadian/International recording artist/DJ Gene King (Drop The Beat) and UK/Canadian recording artist/songwriter Simon Law a.k.a The Funky Ginger (A Funky Dance Reincarnation).
RUSSELL JOSEPH
Russell Joseph has been playing for over 30 years and played at a number of the city's most popular clubs. He has procured a sizable fanbase in South Africa and has had his mixes aired on several South African radio stations across the country. He's currently building a following on Twitch and spins several times a week.
SILK SMOOTH
With 45 years behind the decks, DJ Silk Smooth is a true veteran of the scene. Originally from the Bronx and Queens, New York, he began his journey spinning Hip Hop and R&B, eventually channeling his deep love for house music—now his signature sound. Known for his versatility, Silk can effortlessly move across genres when the vibe calls for it.
Now based in Charlotte, North Carolina, you can catch him live on Twitch twice a week. On Mondays at 10 AM, he spins soulful house for Monday Soul, and on Thursdays at 10 AM, he dives into deep house as part of the Bang The Box raid train, alongside a roster of respected, long-standing DJs.
SLEEPY FREEMAN
Sleepy is a triple OG in Toronto’s underground house scene who lives for music and the people who truly get it. In 2016, he co-founded WDFA Radio at CTRL ROOM with a mission to spotlight both rising and world-class talent. By 2020, he stepped into DJing and party promotion after years of quietly studying the craft.

Now a partner at CTRL ROOM, Sleepy has become a staple in the underground, playing alongside legends like Tyrone Solomon, Nick Holder, DJ Sneak, Demuir, and more. His style reflects his deep journey through house — from Afro and Jackin’ to Soulful, Disco, and neck-snapping Tech. Catch him live every last Sunday of the month on WDFA Radio's Twitch channel.
TYRONE SOLOMON
Tyrone Solomon, a skilled DJ and producer based in Toronto, has made a notable impact on the electronic music scene. Through his involvement with 83West and Trackheadz, he's gained renown for his ability to blend soulful house with lively rhythms. Tyrone's influence extends to Toronto's nightlife, where his sets have left a lasting impression. Moreover, his appearances on Twitch have allowed him to connect with a global audience, showcasing his talent and engaging listeners with his music.
